Healthcare admission is within the discretion of the head of school as far as an applicant can read or write, even though they enroll secondary school candidates. Healthcare is designed to train and equip trainees with caring skills to work in the healthcare sector including health institutions and homes as well as the aged or last offices. It’s a good program since not everyone can be a nurse. NVTI has accredited so many institutions in the country to run program on their behalf. It’s rather unfortunate some institutions for money greed do not explain to the public but make them feel upon complete, they are also nurses.
*Our take:* We advise the public to know what their career prospects are, instead of deceiving yourself, Darda Health says it is possible to reach your career goals, Just work hard to meet the requirements and get there.
There is no short cut in life, re-position yourself as you would definitely get what you really want. In simplicity, *healthcare is like going to a catering school: nursing is like going to pursue home economics at the SHS.* There is a difference.
Another noted fallacy is when you are made to believe you can upgrade to become a nurse with healthcare: NO! You cannot skip WASSCE.
